From Date night to every day local eats we have combined a list of great places perfect for weeknights and even weekends. With traditional American cuisine to Ethnic favorites you won't be left unsatisfied.

Date Night Eats

Melaza Caribbean Bistro

Bold flavors with a variety of dishes to choose from you will struggle to choose just one. From Empanadas, Saffron Rice Fritters, Coconut shrimp and Guava Glaze Roasted Pork Shank you can see how it would be hard to pick only one. Open 5 days a week (Wednesday to Sunday) opening at 5:30pm.






The Prince & The Pauper

Choose from a Prix-fixe menu ($51.00 each) for you and your sweetie or order al a carte. The restaurant has a quiet setting where you will sit by candle light and enjoy course after course of delicious food. Some crowd favorites are the Tomato Bisque, Brie Strudel, Cedar Planked Artic Char and Grilled Filet Mignon. Located on Main Street, after dinner is the prefect time for a romantic stroll through town. 


The Red Rooster is a Four Diamond Award winning restaurant that captures the essence of Vermont in its delightful satisfying dishes and relaxed setting. The restaurant showcases menus that draw from the best purveyors in New England, emphasizing fresh, local ingredients; including specialty cheeses, beef, and heirloom fruits and vegetables, all perfectly prepared by their team. 


Simon Pearce Bar & Restaurant

Weather you are looking to sit down in the main dinning room or looking to sit at the bar this place offers a great bright atmosphere with tons to look at with all their hand blown glass pieces through the bar and restaurant. The Bar has a menu of its own with medium dishes perfect to share, along with cheese boards, soups & salads. The Bar at Simon Pearce is open daily from 10am to 10pm.



Laid Back Eatery's


Bentleys Restaurant

Bentley's Restaurant is a fun laid back environment. Plenty of beer on tap and tons of food options; this place is a great place to meet all your friends. Share a basket of fried pickles, Bangers & Mash or even a rich dish like Beef Bourguignon to stick to your ribs on a cold night. With a friendly staff and a cozy environment this place makes for a fun evening with friends. 


 

Grab a beer and hunker down on some good eats like Wings, Burgers, Sandwiches, Truffle fries and Mac & Cheese. A casual relaxed environment its great for an after work meal or even a place to bring the kids. Open 7 days a week with Lunch on Saturdays and Brunch on Sundays.  

Perfect for a night after work or even the weekend. Some popular choices are Long Trail Sharp Cheddar Ale Soup, Classic chicken wings and Farmhouse fries. Long Trail also can cater events and bring the food and beer to you. Open daily.
