Harvard Study: How To Keep Your Mind Sharp

Besides eating a diet including vegetables, fruit, and whole grains, Harvard researchers have more tips for taking care of your brain.

Here are a few things to keep in mind: 
  • Stay physically active, which means participating in moderate exercise at least three time each week
  • Maintain a good social life, keeping up contact with friends and new activities
  • Keep learning
  • Use all your senses
  • Repeat and write down what you want to remember
  • Get seven to eight hours of sleep each night
  • Limit alcohol
  • Don’t smoke
