Crossroads Academy invites you to hear Dr. Richard Freed speak on raising happy, healthy children in the digital age. Learn what it is about our kid’s screen and phone use that is putting them at risk for depression, academic struggles, and video game/internet addiction. This talk will give you the confidence and skills you need to safely navigate your child through a rapidly shifting media landscape. Richard Freed, Ph,D., is a child and adolescent psychologist and author of the book Wired Child: Reclaiming Childhood in a Digital Age. He speaks internationally to parents, teachers, and healthcare providers on how to promote children’s well-being in this age of machines. Talk will be held in the Bancroft Campus of Crossroads Academy in Lyme.
