VINS Nature Camp

The Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) Nature Camp mission is to encourage children to explore the diversity of nature’s living creatures and habitats while learning and living by values such as respect and kindness to each other and our environment. Each day of camp is another opportunity for your child to join an exciting journey to reveal the wonders of the natural world. Whether it is a hike through the woods, a closer look at an insect under the magnifying glass, a messy craft, or a group game that reinforces the value of teamwork; VINS Nature Camp programs are an invaluable and exciting learning experience for children. Mountains & Rivers Forever Camp

A seven-day summer camp adventure for middle school students in the National Park and surrounding area, including an overnight camping trip. With a focus on instilling values of personal responsibility, hard work, outdoor enjoyment, education, and respect of the environment through a variety of conservation experiences. Lotus Lake Camp

Since 1952, Lotus Lake Camp has been offering children of various ages a day camp where they can learn invaluable life lessons while having fun. The camp continues to run under the leadership of family members who remain dedicated to carry out the original philosophy of Proctor Martin, one of the original founders. A fun, family atmosphere has been maintained as many of the staff are former campers, who return to work with children to foster a love and respect for the environment. Interactive Summer Camp at Billings Farm

Billings Farm & Museum is hosting week-long summer camp programs in 2016, each offered twice during the summer break. Junior Farm Vet. Camp, designed for ages 10 – 15, will be held June 20 - 24 and July 18 - 22, 2016. Almanzo's Week at Billings Farm, designed for ages 8 -12, will be held July 11 - 15 and August 8 - 12. Each camp features a Monday - Friday session from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. For more details click here.
