Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with One of These Events Taking Place in Woodstock
May 25, 2016 03:52PM ● By Finn Mc FarlandKicking off the festivities will be the Ora Paul American Legion Post No. 24’s Memorial Day Parade in Woodstock at 10am on Saturday. The parade will begin at the Woodstock Elementary School and proceed around The Green and through town.
The Woodstock Garden Club will host their annual plant sale on the lawn of the Norman Williams Public Library on Saturday from 8am-1pm. The sale will feature annuals, perennials and vegetables. The Garden Club aims to encourage an interest in gardening, aid in the beautification of the town and help protect and conserve our natural resources.
All day Saturday and Sunday, join Billings Farm and Museum for their 7th annual Dairy Days celebrating Vermont’s dairy heritage. Visitors will meet New England Cheese makers, sample a wide variety of cheeses, and participate in arts and crafts activities with the kids.
Shop the sidewalk sales of some of Woodstock’s locally owned businesses and find great deals! The sales will begin Friday and continue throughout Saturday.
