It’s time once again for a great annual tradition in Woodstock: the first Woodstock High School Alumni Parade was held in 1942. Now, after 74 years, the parade is still going strong with classmates from far and wide returning to their hometown to enjoy a weekend of special events. The parade has continued as an annual tradition for graduates of Woodstock Union High School, from which the first class graduated in 1958.

This year’s parade is set to kick off at 2pm on June 11. The theme this year is Candy, according to Donna Jones, parade coordinator, who reports that 12 floats have been entered so far.
