Sidewalk Sale in Woodstock Happening Today and All Weekend Long

May 25, 2018 12:32PM ● By Linda Ditch
This is the weekend for some great deals! The Woodstock Sidewalk Days begin today, May 25 and last through Saturday. This is the time to take a stroll through the village from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in search of bargains from your favorite shops, as well as check out a few new spots.

While you’re shopping, check out The Woodstock Garden Club’s annual plant sale on Saturday, May 26, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sale takes place in front of the Norman Williams Public Library in Woodstock and will feature approximately 50 varieties of well-established perennials.

Also on Saturday, find a spot to enjoy the American Legion Post 24 Annual Memorial Day Parade. It will begin at 10:30 a.m. After leaving School and Cross Streets and pulling onto South St. (Route 106), the parade route turns right onto Rt. 4, and includes stops at Post 24, Tribou Park, the Elm St. Bridge, River St. Cemetery, ending up at the World War II Monument by the Courthouse. At each of these stops, a small ceremony will be carried out, and all the marching will be accompanied by several bands. The parade lasts about 1 1/2 hours.
