Like many of us, the main characters Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard are just trying to get through it sanely. It is hilariously relatable for parents of all kinds and allows some reprieve from the social pressures we all put on ourselves as parents. Because you can love your children while also hating being trapped in a house with them...but I wouldn’t know...
