Your Guide to At-Home Workouts in the Upper Valley

With all this homemade sourdough and no gym's open, fitness schedules are hard to maintain! Quarantine might start to feel more like the COVID 19lbs. Don’t sweat it! Luckily, many local gyms have converted workout programs to online and live streaming bringing fitness right to you! Here is our round-up of local gyms and studios still crushing it in quarantine so you can find what works for you and get moving!


The River Valley Club (RVC) (Hanover) has currently frozen all member accounts until the gym reopens offering in its place a Digital Membership for $50 that gives access to a private Facebook group where14 group fitness classes are held per week through Facebook Live and Zoom as well as acts as a catalog of past classes.

Hour-long classes include club favorites by RVC trainers such as BodyCombat, Cardio Dance, Pilates/Barre, and Spin. Members are also encouraged to reach out to personal trainers for private training packages. Rates for personal training appointments will vary. For the month of May, the RVC made membership free to all essential workers.


The Upper Valley Aquatic Center (White River Junction) is also offering virtual memberships in three tiers: Champion Support Membership, Virtual Live Class Membership, and Virtual Tele-training packages. For Champion Support Members, fees are the same as the monthly onsite access now with live online classes along with a 45-minute virtual consultation with a trainer to draw up a goal-specific workout plan. This pass also includes a Youtube Channel featuring free workouts and discounts on equipment purchases.

If you’re just looking to get in on some classes, The Virtual LIVE Class Membership is open to all members and non-members for $29.95/ month. This membership gives you access to over 15 weekly classes provided through a daily schedule. Classes like Pilates, Yoga, Zumba, Essential Conditioning, Circuit Training taught via Zoom as well as daily workouts with a selection of Facebook LIVE classes featured on their YouTube Channel each week. Still building your home gym? Pick up UVAC Fit Kit $49.00 ($60 Value) that includes bands, lacrosse ball, sliders, and jump rope. Any additional supplies like bands with handles, stability balls and foam rollers are available through the pro-shop.

To work directly with a trainer, UVAC Tele-Training packages are now offered at a 25% discount to both members and non-members. Sessions are 60-minutes offered through Facetime, Google Chat and Zoom in packs of 4 sessions ($222), 8 sessions ($432) and 12 sessions ($630).

The West Lebanon Fit Body Boot Camp is holding 6-Week Transformation Challenges online, a step by step fitness and nutrition program with detailed guidance, support, and accountability. They’ve taken their signature 30-minute fat burning and muscle toning workouts and turned them into fun, follow along at-home videos designed by fitness professionals for all fitness levels and abilities with no equipment necessary. The program also offers guidance on building a customizable nutrition plan focusing on healthy, whole foods. Hang out, connect with other participants, and get live training through their online on-demand library. $20 to register and $20/week for a 6-week challenge. Hurry! The next Challenge begins May 18th!

Anytime Fitness (West Lebanon) is offering thousands of free fitness videos and virtual workouts through their Coach Care Connect channel on their Facebook page , as well as live training during the week at 9:30, am EST. Pick and choose from the unlimited workouts and get after it for the best results!

Upper Valley Yoga  (White River) is live-streaming daily yoga classes 7 days a week. Yoga packages include drop-in for $18 ($15 for students), 10 classes for $145 ($130 student rate) and $99/month for unlimited access to classes. Unlimited class passes renew automatically. For the Newcomer Pass, get your first 3 classes for $30! Choose from a variety of classes like Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Yoga/Pilates Fusion, Restorative and Kundalini to name a few or contact them for private instruction (rates vary).

The CCBA Recreation Center (Lebanon) is offering live Zoom workouts with membership. Choose from a variety of workouts each day like Zumba, Bootcamp, Pilates, Sunrise Tabata, Kickboxing, and Full Body Fusion. Simply follow the membership renewal tab on their website or email their waiver form for Zoom instructions.

The Mighty Yoga (Hanover/Lebanon) studio has converted their practice to online offerings with 3-5 classes per day and easy sign-up through their website. Current fitness challenges include yoga BINGO! Complete the Mighty Yoga BINGO Card and email them a photo by June 3rd to enter to win a $100 Visa Gift Card. Regulars can find class passes are being offered at $99/month with no minimum to get unlimited access to classes, one guest pass each month, and access to a library of recorded classes. Class pass packages still come in 10 classes ($140), 5 classes ($80), and drop-in ($20) with no access to the library. First time? Mighty Yoga is known for its 30 for 30 deal- 30 classes for 30 days.
