Crossroads Academy - Grade 4 play "Let Freedom Ring"
Each year as part of the history unit on the causes of the American Revolution, the fourth grade performs the play “Let Freedom Ring” written by Mary Beth Klee. It contains important information every American should know about our fight for independence from England. Familiar Founding Fathers will grace the stage as we go from the Boston Massacre to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. While the action of the play takes place in Boston and Philadelphia, Mary Beth Klee included Patrick Henry’s famous speech (although it was delivered in Virginia), since it was instrumental in rallying support to the cause of liberty. This year, the play will be performed on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 8:15-9:15am. The fourth grade hopes you will be able to join us.
